“Today, judge Chkhikvadze confirmed the doubt expressed by us yesterday, whether the court decision was a factor preventing the judge’s departure to the US,” Dimitri Khundadze, Member of Parliament stated when commenting on judge Lasha Chkhikvadze’s statement.
According to him, we are dealing with more irrelevant issues – to what extent it is possible for the judicial decision to be reviewed in the embassies, or, say, for any European Parliamentarian to order in advance as to what decision a judge shall make with regard to certain cases.
More questions are raised, and now the addressee of the question not yet answered, the US Ambassador, shall make clear, unequivocal statements and explanations regarding such alarming attitude that Judge Chhikkvadze mentions and inform the public as to what we are dealing with.
