You may remember that former French President Nicolas Sarkozy said directly about Georgia and Ukraine after his resignation: these two countries will not join NATO for at least half a century, probably not even after half a century, and it is time for them to think about their Black Sea Union. Earlier, however, the same Sarkozy argued that the door to both NATO and the EU would be wide open for Georgia and Ukraine. That is, when European leaders are at the helm of the country, they talk about what they owe, and when they leave office, they release that commitment and tell the truth.
“The current political crisis can be used by those members of NATO against Georgia’s membership in the Alliance, who are already skeptical. They can use the internal political controversy as another additional argument as to why they should not invite Georgia to NATO. My advice, obviously, is for the government to be able to stabilize the political situation in the country”, said Anders Fogh Rasmussen, a former NATO secretary general.
We would like to remind you that Rasmussen spoke differently during his tenure and also said that there is no country in NATO that is against Georgia’s accession, but you have specific commitments and reforms to fulfill. We would also like to remind you that Rasmussen became NATO Secretary General in 2009, when the Georgian-Russian war was over for a year. Consequently, he spoke loudly about Georgia’s accession to NATO and seemed to be doing everything he could to do so, but in the end, exactly what came out of it came out of nowhere – nothing. In addition to this bitter truth, Rasmussen also experienced what he thought about the Georgian people and government in general.
“I consider the arrest of Mikheil Saakashvili a negative element for Georgia, but I will refrain from talking about this issue in detail, because I do not know what the charges against him are and, at the same time, I do not know why he decided to return to Georgia so suddenly. Therefore, I will not comment on this issue. But when you look at the situation from the outside, I hope it will be a fair trial. “Otherwise, new questions will arise about Georgia, not only in terms of the rule of law, but in general, about the state of the country” – Rasmussen said.
Rasmussen does not recognize the court that has already sentenced Saakashvili, and now, if we do not take into account the new accusation of illegal border crossing, Misha is serving his sentence. Rasmussen teaches us: You have to provide a fair trial, I do not know what you were sentenced to. In the same statement, the former NATO Secretary General also called on us to ensure the redistribution of forces both in politics and in other areas. That is, it refers to a coalition government.
Let’s agree that there will be street rallies in Georgia for a long time, as well as mass dissatisfaction even because of the social situation. The fact that our country, for example, will not be helped economically in the next few years, is best known to European partners, and it does not matter what percentage of economic growth we are talking about – the reality is that economic growth does not affect the population and people just money. does not have. Well, Rasmussen made it clear that he would not help you until you were politically sorted, and he offered us a recipe – coalition government and forces redistributed across the political spectrum. He probably does not know that if we give all the leaders of the officially registered party in Georgia the status of parliamentarians, we will not have a seat in the 150-seat parliament, because there are more than 150 parties. To add to this the leaders of the parties and to staff the Cabinet of Ministers with these people will still not be enough. . . There are more than 250 parties registered in Georgia and at least 250 people have the ambition to run the country. It is well known that all kings are born in Georgia and the throne is another, but this is the case when even if we have more than enough thrones, we still will not be divided. Let’s take the elections that ended a few days ago. The West can find no reason to question the legitimacy of the election results, but it does not say that everything was in order, because in such a case, the opposition rallies lose their meaning. However, the statements of the opposition leaders obviously show they are hopeful of the west.
„There was an aggravation of insulting and negative rhetoric, which was typical for the first round as well. During the second round it manifested itself in the call of large parties to end each other. „The election campaign of the United National Movement was focused on common state issues and the formation of coalition policies, while the campaign of the Georgian Dream was mainly more national than in the first round“ – said Albert Johnson, head of the OSCE / ODIHR Observers Mission Yes, similar to Rasmussen, Johnson also likes the idea of a coalition government and does not like “more nationality”. This is the only reason why the West is ready to change the current government by any means and it does not matter how it manages to do so. For 9 years, the West has not been able to start another armed conflict with the Georgian government, and it has realized that if it does not think of something in time, Georgia may not listen to it at all.
Tomorrow or the day after, the opposition will definitely take to the streets and they will definitely have the support of Western partners, US Congressmen unanimously say that Saakashvili should be taken to a city hospital instead of a prison hospital and, as if they do not know and do not realize that this will be a serious provocation. Even now, in the context of the announced or announced revolution, the transfer of Saakashvili to an institution that will not have barbed wire and several protective barriers, will provoke the opposition and they will storm the medical institution in front of the parliament; Delivered aggressively so that the government will be obliged to use force; And then the West is openly talking about the fact that the power was disproportionate, that the government has gone too far, that everything needs to be reconsidered, and that early elections will be called in the spring. This will be an official handover of power, as there are two reasons for this: one – the mood of the voters and the other – the tired supporters of the ruling party, who have been running in the elections for the last few years with the sole purpose – not to return Nationals to the power. Well, these people have been fed up with so much forgiveness, so much consideration for someone or something. Trust us, there is someone for an ordinary Georgian, Charles Michel, who has overthrown the Constitution and even imposed a limit on us, in case of failure of which, by bypassing the Constitution, it would mean early elections. Since we are talking about this topic, let us also say that the opposition has completely silenced this topic. They are no longer talking about the referendum elections because they were bitterly defeated, but they are stubbornly demanding the transfer of power, and then what if the vast majority of the population is against it. This does not interest either Europe or America, and here Rasmussen clearly said: Do not dream of NATO for a long time, many member states of this organization are against your accession to NATO. Yes, let’s say that NATO member Iceland is the only country in this organization that does not have a regular army, that is, this precedent can be allowed if desired and, in general, it is not necessary to pay 75 million in “javelins” and shoot young Georgians in various missions. The real purpose and reason why Georgia is revolving around NATO is Russia, a country whose nerves should be disturbed by Georgia, and if any government refuses to do so, it should leave; It must go at any cost and it does not matter what the Georgian people think, the main thing is the great political goals of big countries. We are exactly the same statistics for them, as more than 10 thousand citizens of Georgia who died of covidium have become official agencies, otherwise it is a tragedy and an incurable pain for thousands of families.
