According to the data published by “Geostat”, the following rises in price was observed during the last year: Fruit – by 25%, dairy produce– by 19%, meat – by 15%
The National Statistics Service published the indicator of inflation for February, according to which the yearly inflation rate made 6.4%. The main impact on forming the yearly inflation rate had changes of prices in the following groups of products:
Food products and non-alcohol beverages – rise of prices by 12,7%. In particular, prices are increased in the following sub-groups: fruits and grapes (25,1%), milk, cheese, egg (19m2%), meat and meat products (15,1%), sugar, jam, other sweets (11,2%), vegetables and herbs (11,1%), fish (10,3%), mineral and spring waters, non-alcohol beverages, natural juices (8,7%) oil and fat (7,4%), broad and bakery products (5,6%), coffee, tea, cacao (5%)
At the same time, in the given period, 8,7% price increase was reported in the hotels, cafes and restaurants group, as well as in the public catering objects (by 9,5%), and overnight service (by 1,3%)
