In the course of meeting with the working group formed for preparing proposals for making amendments to the Constitution, president of Russia Vladimir Putin declared\u00a0 that as long as he is the head of state, there will be no terms \u201cParent No.1\u201d\u00a0 and \u201dParent No.2\u201d\u00a0 in Russia, there will be only the terms \u201cMother\u201d and \u201dFather\u201d\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

The president’s statement was followed by an international backlash.<\/p>\n

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Great Britain spread the statement, indicating that the Great Britain is proud of legalization of marriage between one-sex individuals and called all for fighting against discrimination of the\u00a0 sexual minorities<\/p>\n

The Russian Duma member Aleksey Pushkov responded this call of Britain: \u201cIf the United Kingdom wants so, let them have \u201cParent No.1\u201d\u00a0 and \u201dParent No.2\u201d , sexless children \u2013 it is their right,\u00a0 we don\u2019t impose anything on them, but we are not going to accept strange \u00a0to us concepts\u201d \u2013 Pushkov says.<\/p>\n

While Vito Comenchinni \u2013 the Italian parliament member from \u201cNorthern League\u201d, assessed the Russian president\u2019s words about \u201cFather\u201d and \u201cMother\u201d as \u201cClear, fair and reasonable\u201d \u2013 \u201cProtection of natural type of family \u2013 this is a fundamental task, because only such type of family corresponds to the Christian values\u201d \u2013 The MP underlined and added also that his party too acts exactly to this direction, while the Party leader Mateo Salvini, when he was a chief of the Interior Ministry of Italy, removed the words \u00a0\u00a0\u201cParent No.1\u201d\u00a0 and \u201dParent No.2\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0from the official forms and returned the words \u201cMother\u201d and \u201cFather\u201d, instead<\/p>\n

\u201cWe urge, to protect society which consists of personalities and not of the numbered people\u201d \u2013 The Italian MP declared and added that Vladimir Putin\u00a0 showed a great example of protection of\u00a0 traditional values and the society based on them, as well as protection of Christians, who are \u00a0being persecuted in many regions of the world<\/p>\n
