Saakashvili is facing with a threat of 11 years imprisonment

“By four criminal cases, ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili is under the threat of 11-year long imprisonment” – Natia Songulashvili, a prosecutor of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia declared in her interview with the Ukrainian media publisher “Obozrevatel” 

General Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia conducts four criminal cases against Mikheil Saakashvili. Investigations of these cases are already completed and, now a legal consideration is in the course.

All these cases are under the review of Tbilisi City Court – Songulashvili declared.

Mikheil Saakashvili was deprived of the Ukrainian citizenship on July 26. Ex-president of Georgia received the Ukrainian citizenship on Mat 29, 2015, and by this reason he was deprived of the Georgian citizenship.
