During January-February 2019, the foreign trade turnover in Georgia (undeclared trade) amounted to 1 739.8 million USD, of which a share of export was 505 million USD and of import – 234 million USD .
According to Geostat, the share of the top ten largest export countries in January-February was 73.7 percent of Georgia’s total exports.
It is noteworthy that in the reporting period, for Georgia, Russia was traditionally the largest trade partner country by export. In particular, exports in Russia made 81.2 million US dollars in the first two months of 2019, which is by 31.2% more in comparison to the same period of the last year. The second place takes Azerbaijan where a volume of our export increased by 33,7% and made 58.41 USD. By export, Turkey is the last in the list of top three tradingpartner countries of Georgia.
